Have you ever thought about setting up a wedding car company? Although it can be demanding, because you do not want to let anybody down on their big day, it is also fascinating and exciting.

Some of the benefits are that you get to own good-looking vehicles – maybe a Rolls Royce or a Bentley and they are tax-deductible; you meet new people under happy circumstances and you are in the position to help them have a wonderful wedding day.

It is a very demanding industry, because you always have to bear in mind the desires of your clients and think about how you can realize and expand their’ wishes. That is difficult enough, but you also have to stay competitive. I hope that the following tips will be helpful.

1] Take care of the conditions under which you keep your vehicles. If you can afford to garage them, they will not collect dust and bird droppings so the paintwork will look better for longer. Do not have a gravel drive, because of possible scratching to the coachwork of the cars.

2] Get one or two really lovely cars. You will need to do a bit of research to find out what couples in your area like, but as a rule of thumb a Rolls Royce or a Bentley are sure bets. Or maybe a stretch limousine. Old vehicles go down well too. Build up your fleet of cars step by step but increasingly. Offer your clients as much choice as you can realistically afford to do.

Many wedding couples will not only require the wedding car, but also cars for the guests. Many of them want limousines or old cars for their wedding day. But a lot of other vehicles are required for the guests. Be flexible and agree to decorate the cars according to the couple’s wishes with flowers and ribbons.

2] Employ good, compassionate personnel. A fully trained chauffeur is a necessity, but a military style driver can add to your firm’s image.

3] It is a good idea to offer different packages or elements that a couple can use to build a package. So, you could offer transportation from the bride’s house to the church as one element. From the church to the restaurant as another element and from there to the chosen hotel, the airport or the railway station, as another element.

4] Make certain that your clients know exactly how long they have exclusive use of the vehicles for. This is useful for them, so that they know exactly how long they have to take photos, eat or chat.

Transport plays a huge and vital part in any wedding day celebrations. In fact, poorly timed or scruffy transportation can ruin a wedding day. If you let that happen, your firm’s standing will suffer badly, especially in a town or village. You will need a high sense of responsibility; reliable, well-trained, sympathetic staff and high quality vehicles that look the part. White wedding cars are popular, but other colours are acceptable, especially for the guests.

Whether you prefer clear mountain air or the ozone-rich, salty air of the sea, you can find places to take your dog for a walk that are idyllic, even when you are on holiday. If you are a nature lover and a dog lover, you could choose a vacation destination with nature and your dog in mind.

City-bound hotel holidays or long, driving holidays are not very pleasurable for your dog. If a dog is going to be at home all day, he would prefer be in his own home all day. Likewise, with driving. He might beg to go the mall with you in the car, but doing a coast to coast run in a scorching fortnight in June, is not really what he is all about.

Therefore, if you are planning a vacation that you think your pet would not really enjoy, why not do him and yourself a favour and leave him behind? Place him with a dog-loving family member or friend or board him in a kennels that you have checked out well yourself.

There are literally hundreds of boarding kennels in operation in every state and often there are thousands. Most of them are fine, some are excellent and the owners of some could do with a stiff talking to. I put my dog in one once that I had not checked out well enough and went away for two weeks. When I got back four hours early, they were not ready me and my dog was dirty and forlorn.

I felt awfully guilty and my dog would not ’speak’ to me for a week. Really! No eye contact, no tail wagging, would not always come when called, no joyous running about, just a hang dog appearance for seven days. She must have felt that I let her down badly, which of course I had, by not checking up on the kennels.

A fantastic place to take your dog is St Croix in the United States Virgin Islands. The US Virgin Islands are literally part of the United States of America and you can go there without a passport, with your US dollars and with your dog.

Not every hotel allows animals just as in continental USA, but there are loads that do. There are also package holidays that will take you and your dog from the airport to the island hotel and back again all for one price.

Of the four main islands in the US Virgin Islands, St. Croix is probably the best choice for going to with a pet dog, because it is less heavily populated than the other islands and is by far the largest.

The hotel or resort will almost certainly not provide feeding dishes, bedding and toys but they will surely have a store where you can purchase such things. It is probably not worth bringing your own either unless you have a large suitcase and a decent weight allowance. Food for your dog will also be extensively available on the island, of course.

St Croix has various sorts of landscape and plenty of activities to take full advantage of them. There are beautiful tropical beaches just right for swimming or playing in the shallows; there are the undulating plains of the old plantations, which are perfect for long walks and there are hills, mountains and rain forest to explore with your dog too.

If you enjoy travelling and seeing new destinations, I advocate a cruise. I have cruised the Mediterranean and the Baltic and my next cruise will be a Caribbean cruise. I am genuinely looking forward to it. If you have never been on a cruise, start saving up now, because it is luxury like you have never imagined before.

Never having been on a Caribbean cruise before, I do not know how much the different Caribbean islands differ from one another, so I do not know how varied that cruise would be. However, I have cruised the Med and the Baltic and woken up to a different country every day and in both of those seas and every country is very different from its neighbours.

On our Baltic cruise we departed from Southampton and cruised to Gothenburg in Sweden. From there we went to Helsinki and Leningrad (in those days). On the way back, we called into Copenhagen and the Tivoli Gardens. None of those countries was in any way similar to another or even Britain.

Similarly, my Mediterranean cruise left from Minorca in north eastern Spain going east to Sardinia and then north along the southern coast of Europe. Italy, France and Spain. The second week of the cruise left Minorca again and went to Sicily and then south along the northern coast of Africa including Malta.

The luxury on a cruise is practically indescribable to someone who has never been on a cruise. There is no standard higher than five stars, but the cruises I have been on offered superior levels of luxury than any five star hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world.

Food and shore trips play a major part of cruising. The food is top notch with no mistake. Breakfast on a cruise liner is better than most Americans and most Europeans have for dinner. Whatever you want from prawns to steak, from exotic fruit to porridge. Lunch and dinner are even more sumptuous.

Shore excursions are well prepared too. They include a ferry from the cruise liner to the land and then a coach trip by a local firm to the location, which could be an historical site or a shopping mall. Most cruisers go on these trips, but some prefer to remain on board and take advantage of the reduced number of passengers and the free food.

I went on every shore tour and thoroughly enjoyed each one. The excursions are usually pricey though, but you are part of a trapped audience, so what can you expect?

I thoroughly recommend a cruise holiday to any and every one. You should go at least once in your life, but do not leave it until late in your life because you will want to go again.

Many friends and family members book cabins for vacations and for a private get-away from the fast moving real world of everyday activity. There isn't any better place than to get lost in the mountains for a week or two for a escape. Get your list ready and be geared up for your trip! Below are great tips that will help you schedule an adventurous journey!

Are you heading to the mountains and wondering what you could get into? There are many great activities out in the wild and according to how much time you might have is dependent upon how daring you may be.

1. Horse Back Riding – There is nothing nicer than riding high on the mountain on top of a horse. Horse back is an experience that everyone should have. Your tail might be sore the next day but you will sure have a life of memories on a horse ride. There is no better way to connect to early American culture than riding a horse through the woods!

2.Hiking – Finding a good walking trail is simple in most parks and can lead to finding magical places. Hiking is enjoyable to do with friends but not advised to do on your own. Always be well prepared before for the trail and drink plenty of water before you leave as well as bring plenty along with you! Be also sure to bring enough food for a few good meals, not to mention bringing a good sharp knife, a lighter or matches, backpack, flashlight, map of trail, compass, light raincoat or plastic bags. If it rains you can use either one to keep your gear dry. You never know when bad weather can strike or you make a wrong turn. I always carry my cell phone with me also just in case!

3. Boating and Kayaking – Floating down the creek in a Canoe or Kayak is a great way spend early summer. Some people fish, some people take pictures and others just enjoy the views from another perspective. Remember to always wear a life jacket and never underestimate the power of water. One minute the river can be calm and slow and the next you can be white water rapids. The best way to learn about the river is to go on guided floats. Many parks and lakes have boat rentals at affordable rates!

4. Swimming – Leaping in a cool river stream to cool off is a must if you are in the mountains. Keep in mind that some currents may be stronger than you think so be aware of water conditions. Many mountain streams are perfect to play in during the summer months when rainfall is lower. Many mountain rivers can rage during winter and spring months.

5.Snow Skiing – High Mountain areas host ski lodges and resorts that wait for winter guest to hit the slopes every year. The typical ski season lasts around 6 months in most areas and really depends on elevation and location.

Whether you’re hiking, fishing, biking, hunting, camping, skiing be sure to take many pictures. Just remember don’t become too comfortable around wild animals, many are territorial and don’t take kind to anyone invading their space.

Find a great Vacation Rental or a secluded Mountain Bed and Breakfast today!

In the recent years, many tourists like to book their hotels and air tickets online. And thus, the business at tour agencies has dropped. Cheap hotel rates and backpackers inns sprouted out spontaneously.

In the recent years, many tourists like to book their hotels and air tickets online. And thus, the business at tour agencies has dropped. Cheap hotel rates and backpackers inns sprouted out spontaneously.

Due to the correction, people have to look for more cheap hotel rates as the cheap hotel market has now become unstable. Budget hotels used to bank on their name and position and remained cheap, but now, they have increased their costs to vie with other better hotels. The fact is the economy is in a correction and when this happens there is a shift in demand. The demand shift causes prices to fall for a short period of time, at least in the grand scheme of things. It also causes hotels to give more promotions besides their lower rates to draw in the traffic. That is why now is such a great time to travel.

Currently, the owners of backpacker’s inns have been setting aside some rooms for budget tourists. They know that these rooms will be snatched up immediately. The owners realize that the small hotels are the selling point and uses it to their advantage.

People recently prefer hotels which offer special themes. This preference results in an increase in the number of boutique hotels which are cheap and self-sufficient. These special hotels are able to compete with the other budget hotels.

True enough, sometimes, the backpackers need a hot shower or freshly-pressed sheets in order to enjoy a good night’s sleep. The small hotels realize these needs and they provide these to their customers.

Other than budget hotels, the guesthouses and bed and breakfasts also are more popular recently. They advertise themselves as being homely. They can succeed because there’s a need for these facilities by backpackers. The guesthouses and boutique hotels have responded to the needs of the backpackers and thus have experienced improved business and expanded.

Is saving 40% a condition of Cheap Hotel Rates? I think so, if you agree visit Chris’ site and book today for your next trip.

Anywhere you go around the world, it always pays to know what to do and sometimes all it takes is common sense, so be a smart tourist during your Lake Tahoe vacation.

Anywhere you go around the world, it always pays to know what to do and sometimes all it takes is common sense, so be a smart tourist during your Lake Tahoe vacation. First time tourists usually fall prey to ‘unsuspecting’ circumstances like waiting in line for hours just to get a meal, or get frustrated over exaggerated offers for good deals on trips and vacation packages or sometimes even end up on a lonely resort without even a slightest hint of what was offered for the ‘price-buster package’.

All too typically, Lake Tahoe visitors fall prey into common time-wasters and fun-busters, it might be the results of plenty of things but one thing’s for sure, the main reason for such a problem will always need to be about poor planning. It’s either they’re stuck in gridlock due to a likely rush of tourists in getting to their desired vacation spot, or lazing at South Lake Tahoe sunburnt yet unhappy due to some or waiting in queue at internationally famous cafes for hours.

But truthfully, often all that it takes is just some commonsense and fastidiously planned activities to let you like your Lake Tahoe holiday. Being a smart traveler doesn’t only keep you away from the concerns of messing up your holiday, it also helps you like more and even get to spend less cash. These are some of the finest guidelines to apply that would try and make things straightforward for you, be assured this isn’t complicated.

It is beneficial to get prepared, especially in making certain that you do not get lost. When preparing your activities around Lake Tahoe, employ a map to find all you need to see, and plan your route ahead. Otherwise, you can spend unnecessary time back-tracking round the lake. To avoid getting abnormally burned, make certain you check out for a tanning cream test. It basically is as straightforward as taking along a suntan cream when going outside, ideally with a higher SPF (Sun Protection Factor). The reason for that is the major heat of the sun since you are at an altitude of no less than 6000 feet above sea level.

If you should drink alcohol, drink it in moderation. The effects of alcohol are greater at 6,000 feet, so better watch out if you are driving around. Avoid the rush, since Lake Tahoe is busier in summer than in winter.
Same goes with the fact that there are more visitors on weekends than on week days. If possible, plan your getaway on a weekday since most hotels prices take a nosedive during Sunday nights and vacancies can be found everywhere.

If you’re planning to have dinner in one of the famous cafes in Lake Tahoe, make efforts to have dinner reservations previously, particularly on the North Shore area on Fri. and Saturday nights. You’ve got to be certain to have something to keep you warm during out of doors activities during night. Nights are exceptionally cool even during summer nights at Lake Tahoe, so bring a warm jacket and a couple of long pants to drag on over your shorts.

Avoid annoying traffic, especially at the South Lake Tahoe area by taking advantage of the Blue Tahoe Trolley and Emerald Bay Shuttle. Those are some of the common tips on how to be a smart tourist during your Lake Tahoe vacation, guaranteed it will save you money, time and effort in doing so.

It was seven-ish and I was sitting in a nice-enough room overlooking the front entrance to the pub above which I had just moved in. The pub was the Pig and Whistle on Soi 7 in Pattaya. Across the lane was a big hole, which they were hoping to construct a hotel in and next door to that, right opposite me, was a small bar with one woman sitting on a stool outside it. Not that there was a wall there, it was open on two sides. The Soi was nice and peaceful, I thought. I also thought that I might go and sit in that little bar and talk to that woman, if my friend was late, because I would surely see him arrive from two metres away, the width of the Soi.

So, I went to the bar in the pub at 19:15 to await my friend who said he would meet me at 20:00. It was much busier than thirty minutes earlier but not noisy and I sat at the bar. The first thing a barmaid did was say hello, give me a menu and step back. I did not really want to eat, I only wanted a beer as I presumed we would be dining together later, but I wanted to read the menu anyway.

‘A pint of Boddington’s’, I said. It arrived and the girl started laying a place for me. I tried to say that I was not hungry, but it was no good. Like in Spain, most people eat and drink at the same time. All the while the girl was smiling at me. Then she said: ‘You live upstairs? My name Charli. What you want to eat?’. So, I gave in and ordered something and rice.

‘You first time in Thailand? You no can eat. Too spicy’, she said with a grin. ‘Oh’, I replied, ‘but I want to try. ‘I put only 50-50 for you’, she declared and went.

I battled my way through that meal and it took a Boddingtons and a bottle of water. Charli had been right, it was too hot for first-time foreign visitors and she had reduced the chilis by 50%. I have always heeded a Thai’s counsel on food ever since.

I changed seat to by the window to see what was going on as it was dark by 19:30 and I was curious. Within thirty minutes Soi 7 had transformed itself completely. I could see hundreds of ladies and tourists walking about. I wanted to go out and join in or at least sit in the quiet bar across the lane, but I’m ashamed to say that I was too frightened, so I sat put, rivetted to the Pig like a rabbit in a hunter’s flashlight.

My friend arrived on time and after we had been chatting for an hour, he said: ‘Drink up, I have someone I want you to meet’. This was it, we were going into that mele. A waitress held the door for us and the noise and the heat were tremendous. Particularly the din. Every metre at least two or three girls would yell: ‘Hello, sexy man, you want a drink’. Trying to say no courteously to each invitation was out of the question, so I just stuck close by to my pal.

Luckily, we only had about fifty metres to stroll and we sat down in another bar. My friend said hello to several ladies and then said, this a girl I have been going out with for some time. I was astounded as I had never heard him talk about her, ever. She was gorgeous, but could not speak English, so I sat in the din in silence. Not for long through, as my friend said, I have a blind date for you and he introduced another girl to me who was equally beautiful, but with whom I could speak a little. She was captivating and I was captivated. The pandemonium seemed to pass away, but it was only because I was concentrating on my new friend. The four of us had the best time and the best food I had ever had in my forty-nine years of existence.

Spanish is a language that has in recent years interested many in its study. Spanish is a common choice to learn for foreign speakers. In high schools today, Spanish is quickly becoming the language of choice to learn for students.

Especially in countries like the United States, Spanish speaking communities are growing which has led to more of a need for individuals with Spanish and English speaking skills.

For this case, maybe you want to learn Spanish in order to better communicate on your job or maybe you want to make new friends with your co-workers.

Whatever the case may be, learning a new language can be a rewarding endeavor. This is not to say that it is an easy one, it can be very difficult to learn a foreign language. However, there are a few tips you can be aware of in order to improve upon the process.

Spanish is best studied a little bit each day just like all other foreign languages instead of studying it for a long period every once in a while.

The reason for this is that studying a little bit each day will reduce the time that you need to spend at each study session reviewing the material from before. By doing a little bit each day, you can keep moving along nicely and increasing your knowledge of the language.

This process of a little bit of study each day also increases your ability to adapt to the new language and so you are better able to get a handle on it than if you were to study it every once in a while.

For whatever reason you may be learning Spanish, I wish you the best of luck and a speedy process in learning it! Remember to study a little bit each day and you should continue to improve. Just keep at it and you will experience the many rewards that foreign language study can bring.

Anime is a great cultural item that has made learning Japanese particularly inviting to many English speakers. It is also a big reason that many people in all parts of the world want to learn Japanese.

Anime is a great cultural item that has made learning Japanese particularly inviting to many English speakers. It is also a big reason that many people in all parts of the world want to learn Japanese.

Japan is also liked by many people because it has a strong traditional culture and a very strong business culture which has promoted Japan to being the second largest economy in the world.

For whatever your reason may be for learning a language like Japanese, you must remember a few things that learning a foreign language successfully means.

For English speakers, Japanese is a more difficult language to learn because it does not use the roman script and also because there are few cognates.

European languages, especially the romance languages, are a lot easier for English speakers to learn because they share many grammatical similarities and the vocabulary is often similar due to Latin influences. So, it is very easy to pick up vocabulary in these languages because the words are so similar to the English words already.

What this means for studying Japanese is not that it is impossible but just a bit more difficult.

However, my best advice for you is to keep your reasons for learning Japanese strong if you want to get far in it.

My best advice to you is to make sure that your reason for learning the foreign language, in this case, Japanese, is a strong one.

So, whether you want to become better at business and open up new opportunities or if you want to better understand that next anime episode you watch, make sure you keep that desire strong in your mind and heart.

This will ultimately keep you going on the long journey that studying Japanese entails. So, make sure that you are able to stay strong when studying and keep going no matter what. Just remember your reason for studying Japanese every time that you feel you are beginning to falter in your studies.

Author Robertson Kunz has a language learning guide: learn a foreign language quickly. Japanese learners: learn fluent Japanese.

In the Twelfth Century, William de Barri owned Barry Castle, but it was attacked and destroyed by Llewellyn Bren in 1316. It is said that the Cavaliers rebuilt it, but that it was subsequently destroyed again by the Roundheads, never to be rebuilt.

The Norman invaders were thoroughly detested by the local people and they had to build large mansions to defend themselves from frequent assaults on them by the people of the valleys and the mountains. During the reign of Henry III, there were 12 castles within six miles of Barry. In Glamorgan, there were 30 castles and in South Wales as a whole there were 150 !

Porthkerry and the church lying to its west is said to have taken its name from Ceri, who is said to have founded a port, ie ‘Port Ceri’. People say that Ceri ap Caid, the King of Essyllwg, resided in Porthkerry before the Christian era and that his bard, Corvinor, was the first to have built a ship with sails and a rudder for the race of Cymru. Some believe that Ceri was a nephew or grandson of Caractacus (Caradog) and that he assumed the leadership of the government in South Wales when Caractacus was sent to Rome.

John Wesley preached in the Porthkerry Church pulpit, and sometimes outside too, between 1741 and 1743. There are two very old churches still in use today in Barry, St. Cadocs Church in Cadoxton and Merthyr Dyfan Church in Merthyr Dyfan. One-hundred-and-fifty years ago, Cadoxton was the largest village in the Barry area: for example, in 1844 the Parliamentary register contained 25 names: 20 from Cadoxton and five from Barry. The one church was dedicated to St. Cadoc, who used to spend Lent on Flat Holm and Barry Island. The village took its name from the church, which was founded in 800 AD.

Merthyr Dyfan Church, situated in the north of Barry, was founded in 600 AD and the name means Dyfan The Martyr. There were two saints of this name: one journeyed to Barry to convert the inhabitants to Christianity; the second lived in the Sixth Century and was the son of a Welsh chieftain. His sister was also martyred and the town of Merthyr Tydfil is named after her.

The Christian faith flourished in the Vale of Glamorgan and in the middle of the Second Century, Llewrwg, Prince of Siluria, became the first king of all time to be baptized into the Christian faith anywhere in the world. He sent to Rome for more preachers and was sent Dyfan and Fagan. The former was martyred near the site of the church and the latter was canonized.
